Introduction
EG-PC ("we", "us", "our") operates eg-pc.com, an independent meta search engine for computer hardware sold in Egypt. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the service, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to operate the service. This includes: account information you provide if you sign up (email address and authentication identifiers), saved builds and items you add to your cart, settings such as language preference, and technical data your browser sends automatically (IP address, user-agent, referrer, pages visited, timestamps). We do not collect payment information; all purchases happen on the retailer's own website.
How we use information
We use the data above to provide and improve the service: to authenticate you, save your builds and cart between visits, remember your language and filter preferences, detect abuse, measure aggregate traffic, and debug problems. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We do not share personal information with retailers we list. When you click an outbound link to a store, that store independently receives the standard request data your browser sends (IP, user-agent, referrer); we have no control over what they collect after you leave eg-pc.com. We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, error logging, analytics) strictly to operate the service, and with authorities when legally required.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and store your cart and builds on your device. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings; clearing them will sign you out and erase local-only data.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Anonymous request logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing us.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Send requests to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account.
Children
EG-PC is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
