Acceptance
By accessing or using eg-pc.com (the "service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What EG-PC is
EG-PC is an independent price comparison engine for computer hardware sold by Egyptian retailers. We aggregate publicly available product listings, normalize them, and present them with price history and store comparisons. We do not sell products, hold inventory, take payments, ship items, or provide warranties. All purchases are made directly with the retailer on the retailer's own website.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and you may not impersonate others or create accounts on behalf of someone else without permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: scrape, copy, or systematically harvest the service in a way that interferes with its operation; attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or security measures; reverse engineer or interfere with the service; submit false or misleading information; use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of Egyptian law.
Product data and pricing
Prices, stock status, specifications, and product information are sourced from third-party retailers and refreshed periodically. We make a reasonable effort to keep data accurate but make no guarantee. The retailer's own website is always the source of truth at the moment of purchase. If a price or availability shown on EG-PC differs from what the retailer charges at checkout, the retailer's price applies.
Intellectual property
The EG-PC name, logo, site design, code, and aggregated comparison data are owned by EG-PC. Product names, images, and brand marks belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only. You may share links to EG-PC pages freely; you may not republish bulk data from the service without written permission.
Third-party stores
EG-PC links to third-party retailer websites for the actual purchase. Those stores have their own terms, privacy policies, return policies, and customer service. EG-PC is not a party to transactions you make with them and has no responsibility for disputes, deliveries, refunds, warranties, or any post-purchase issue.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of information. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or up to date at any specific moment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EG-PC and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last twelve months, which for free users of EG-PC is zero.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service, with or without notice, if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to other users or to EG-PC. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
